Hatchmere's Class Blog 8.9.23

Hello Hatchmerians, 

The children’s first week in their new classroom was nothing short of amazing! They showed courage, a willingness to learn and were so resilient when dealing with being hot and sweaty. All of us at Over St Johns are very proud of them and we feel very privileged to have them as part of our school family. 

The weather has, of course, dictated many of our activities this week. The children have had busy mornings and afternoons that were a little slower, calmer and cooler. I am sure that you can see from the pictures below that the fun never stopped. 

At Lunchtime, once again, the children have impressed staff with their manners and their appetite! We have had cleared plates and a willingness to try different foods. Hatchmere have loved being in the hall with the rest of the children, saying hello to relatives and friends. Well done, Hatchmere! 

Today we have had a cooling off afternoon with our feet hovering and floating in some water while a story was read. It was so relaxing that the children could close their eyes and explain what magical land they were visiting in their minds. Gorgeous! 

New friendships have been forged, new routines began and a new school journey with OSJ. Welcome to all of our Hatchmerians and their families.
