Hatchmere's Class Blog 9.12.22

Date: 9th Dec 2022 @ 3:19pm

How much can you fit into a week? We seem to be challenging ourselves at the moment as the Christmas preperation and festivities begin.

We have had lovely week exploring the Nativity story. Costumes have been tried on and the story re-enacted in class. The children re-tell the story beautifully and their singing of Away in a Manger has really impressed Mrs Snowdon.

We have our own Christmas tree in Hatchmere and the children have enjoyed decorating it together each day. We have even had some children creating their own tree decorations and making their own christmas cards to post in our class post box.

Please see Mrs Snowdon's blog (click the link below) for details of our Christmas Carol Concert next week and also our pantomime!

I have not attached a plan for next week as we will be assessing the children and working with them on individual tasks.  There will be a bit of Christmas fun thrown in there as well.

Please remember to wrap up warm as the temperatures remain low throughout the weekend and into next week. Send children into school next week with their NAMED Winter coats, hats, scarves and gloves. We will be walking to Church twice, so trousers/tights, thick socks and appropriate footwear will be needed.
