Hatchmere's Festive Friendship Wreath
Date: 4th Dec 2020 @ 4:02pm
Hatchmere children may have mentiioned at home about a special wreath that we have been making in class this week. Over St John's are contributung to this year's Winsford Festive Light Trail and each class has created a wreath to tell the Christmas Story in the theme of their class Christian value. Hatchmere's Christian value is FRIENDSHIP and our wreath reflects the friendship between the shepherds in The Nativity. Please come by and take a look, they are hung outside of Mrs Snowdons office. The children are so proud of it!
There were shepherds in the same country staying in the field, and keeping watch by night over their flock. And look, an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for see, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all the people. For there is born to you, this day, in the city of David, a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord. This is the sign to you: you will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth, lying in a manger.”
