Hello Delamere 22.01.21

Date: 22nd Jan 2021 @ 12:23pm

Hello Delamere families,

Well that's another week nearly complete of home learning and school based learning and what super stars you have all been!  Once again we couldn't be prouder of you all for your resilience, dedication and hard work.  Yes, we mean to you the parents as well as the children!

We have seen some gorgeous pieces of work this week both via email and within the classroom.  Particular highlights have to be the wonderful column addition work which is beautifully and clearly presented - we have some great mathematicians!  We have also loved reading your writing linked to The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark and we can definitely see some children using the correct cursive letter formation within their presentation too.

Please see previous blogs where we have shared art work from the Takashi Murakami task and Chinese New Year themed crafts.  These all look stunning!  We are incredibly impressed with your creative skills.  In class we learnt how to make chinese lanterns and now the children on site are making these independently as a lunchtime break activity on the snowy, wet days when they have to stay indoors.

We really enjoyed looking at your School Council responses for improving mental health and well being and these will be shared with everyone very soon - in case you are looking for more ideas of how to wind down and have fun!

Thank you for all your engagements with the live sessions.  The school based team have loved linking up with the home team and it's been so much fun getting everyone involved and connected. It's definitely a highlight of our day..

One final note, thank you for the gorgeous message of encouragement.  We have received some lovely positive comments.  Keep messaging us, keep asking questions and do let us know if you need anything from us at all.  We are here for you all.

Stay safe and keep smiling.

Team Delamere
