Ladybirds

Hello.

I hope you have all enjoyed the lovely weather we have had this weekend?  Olivia brought in some lovely information last week about Ladybirds and how to build them a special house.  The children were so interested in what she brought in they have asked to build the ladybird houses.  So we will be doing a bit of research about ladybirds and each child will build a bug house.  We could do with each child bringing in a plastic bottle (1litre) and some sticks, twigs, straw, fir cones or bamboo sticks to make them with.  The children will also be spending the next four Tuesday afternoons in Year 1/Sandymere getting to know the classroom and the teachers.  Please see the plans below for further details.
