Linmere class blog 10/1/20

To begin 2020 in Linmere, we have started our work on statistics. In stats, we have looked at line graphs, 1-way tables and 2-way tables. We have learnt how to read these graphs/tables and we can interpret them to answer questions.

In our literacy, we have revisited the features of a recount and we’ve wrote a recount of our Christmas holidays. We have also planned and started to write our big recount based on the Queen Of The Falls book.

In our topic, we started our work on rivers. We looked at the major seas and oceans surrounding the UK and used an atlas to identify key rivers across the UK. We have also started our science unit on forces and have began to look at the Christmas story.
