Linmere class blog 14.3.21

The first week back is done and we've been working hard in Linmere once again. 

The children came back to school with a great attitude and have put lots of effort into the week's activities. In maths, we recapped area and perimeter and managed to work through lots of problems. We also started our new book for the term ('The Darkest Dark' ) and read the first half of this book. 

For our topic work, we created a 3D map of the UK and painted this map using watercolours. We also look at Anglo-Saxons punishment methods again and we created/played  a Wergild (crime payment system) game.

I hope you've all had a good weekend and refreshed yourself ready for next week.
