Linmere class blog 19.9.21

We've finished another week in Linmere and its been really nice for me to be back in class with the children.

This week, we've started our work on Gorilla which is the new book we'll be looking at for literacy. The children predicted what would happen in this book and were introduced to some of the main characters. In maths, we looked at the place value of 3 and 4-digit numbers and looked at breaking these numbers down. 

To finish the week off, we looked at Jesus' teachings and the story of the Good Samaritan. From this ,the children created some nice artwork on how they could show kindness like the Samaritan.
