On our first week back following the half term, we have started our new book for the literacy. The book is called ‘Queen Of The Falls’ and contains the story of a 62-year- old woman (Annie), who goes down Niagara Falls in a barrel. We have pretended to be part of this crowd watching Annie go down the falls and we have written pretend postcodes recalling the event.

In maths we have looked at division and multiplication. The Year 4 children have practiced multiplying and dividing by 6, 7 and 9. The year 5 children have focused on identifying factors and multiples of values.

On Wednesday, we were also lucky enough to have a music lesson with a guest teacher from WEP. In this lesson, we learnt some Xmas songs which we will be performing later in the year.
