Linmere weekly blog 16/10/21

Hi all

we've had another busy week in Linmere and got lots of work done. This week, we carried on with our topic work around WW2 and the children looked at comparing Germany and England. The children looked at the lifestyles, populations, cities and interesting facts related to these countries and looked at differences and similarities between the 2. In our maths this week, we continued to look at adding and subtracting 10,100 and 1000 and the year 5 children moved on to doing this with larger numbers.

A real nice piece of work from the week was the children's PSHE work. In this session, we looked at the dangers of talking online and some ways to keep safe. For this lesson, the children created their own emoji and wrote some top tips inside it on how to keep safe.
