The children have done lots of good work once again this week and we've started lots of new units in different subjects. A standout piece of work from this week was the children's artwork on WW2 posters; all of the children were able to create colourful posters aiming to persuade people to join the forces during WW2.

In our maths this week, we looked at partitioning and representing numbers. Lots of the children managed to do this with 5 and 6-digit numbers which was something new for lots of them. For literacy, we continued with our book called 'Gorilla' and the class created a descrpiton of a sad looking room. 

I hope everyone has had a nice weekend and is ready for another week ahead.
