Welcome back and we hope you’ve all had a great half term.

We’ve had an interesting week in Linmere.

In English we’ve started to look at our new text which is the poem, The Lost Lost-Property Office by Roger McGough. We also had a Zoom meeting with author Joseph Coelho, he talked about writing skills, to help with our own poems in class.

For RE we have created our own ‘Good turns’ calendar for the classroom. Muslims create these during Ramadan.

As we approach Remembrance Day, in History we’ve been finding out about the life of James Clarke, who was awarded the Victoria Cross for his bravery in the 1^st World War. He was born in Winsford and attended Over St John’s as a child.

We been playing spelling swap to help us learn our spellings ready for Monday’s test. This is something you could try at home.

Don’t forget PE kits on a Wednesday and Thursday.
