We have a good week in Linmere.

 

For English we created a class poem based on the poem, The Lost Lost Property Office by Roger McGough. We then practised reciting the poem before we filmed our performance.

In D&T we made our own smoothies. Each smoothie had healthy ingredients in and tasted yummy! We used out chopping, grating and peeling skills so now can help at home when dinner is being prepared!!!

In PE in have continued to practice our hockey skills especially trying to keep control of the ball. In dance we’ve being creating partners poses for our dance routines.

In Science we investigated how to change the pitch of an instrument. 

For History we've designed an Anglo-Saxon village, labelling it's key features. 

We looked at how Christians are trying to help make the world ‘good’ again. We linked our work to the creation story where God said the world was good.

 

Well done to Vicky for winning the raffle prize, and on your birthday too.

 

Reminder for spelling test on Monday and PE kits for Wednesday and Thursday.
