Linmere have had another busy week.

Well done to our year 5 violinist for their fantastic performance.

In English we’ve been writing speech bubbles and then writing direct speech. Imagining what the characters from our book would be saying, as Mount Vesuvius erupts.

In Maths we’ve been learning about factors and multiples, to support our work with multiplication.

We enjoyed designing labels for our smoothies in D&T.

Computing we’ve started to write a script, which we will then film, using different filming techniques.  

In History we’ve learnt about gods the Anglo-Saxons worshipped, and how some of their festivals are similar to ours today.

We’ve been developing our Hockey shooting skills and learned a new dance routine in our PE lessons.

In PCSHE we’ve been talking about bullying and deciding if a scenario was bullying or not. We talked about how a victim of bullying would feel. Then discussed how we can cheer someone up.

Remember PE is Monday next week.

 

There are lots of exciting Christmas activities over the next few weeks. On Thursday we are going to the Pantomime and after school Friday it is the Christmas Extravaganza.
