What a winning week we’ve had in Linmere!

 

Firstly, well done to Hudson for winning the raffle prize this week. Ava won the School Council poster competition for Key Stage 2. Jaydan came 3^rd and George came 2^nd in the Junior Safety Officers competition.

 

English this week we’ve been practicing rhyming couplets by writing a nonsense poem.

In Maths we’ve been consolidating a variety of maths skills.

PE we’ve been developing our Hockey skills and produced a mini dance routine.

In Science we’ve been learning about how sound travels through different mediums; solids, liquids and gases.

In History we’ll be finding out about the Anglo Saxons his half term.

We enjoyed tasting three different smoothies in DT. Our favourite was apple and blackcurrant.

 

We’ve been looking forward to seeing what daily activity is in our Ramadan Calendar, this week we enjoyed our 5 sit ups forfeit.

Reminder that it’s spellings on a Monday, PE is a Wednesday and Thursday.
