Linmere's Class Blog 07.02.2025

Another bust week in Linmere. This week has also been Children's Mental Health Week, with the theme Know Yourself, Grow Yourself. We been exploring the theme through, assemblies, PCSHE and KiVa lessons. On Wednesday we went to the library. We had to complete a quiz which helped us locate books in the different areas of the library. We also read some books, and those with a library card borrowed books. It's lovely to see more children reading at home, remember our target is to read 4 times a week. 

In English we’ve been planning to write a myth story. The children have develop some interesting and imaginative characters for their myth.

In Maths we've been looking at fractions and equivalent fractions. 

In Art we’ve focused on drawing a small section of a larger picture.

 

Reminder that spellings are on Monday, and PE is on Mondays and Thursdays.

 

We also have Pupil Consultations Evenings  after school next Tuesday and Thursday.
