Linmere's class blog 11th of December

We've been extremely busy in Linmere this week and we've taken part in lots of sessions tied to interfaith week.

For interfaith week, we took part in zoom sessions on 5 religions including: Quakerism, Buddhism, Islam, Untiarianism and Humanism. We talked to someone from each faith in these sessions  and the children were allowed to ask the presenters questions linked to their faith. After all of the sessions, Linmere and the rest of school presented all the information they had taken in to the rest of the school and the interfaith group in a sharing assembly. 

During the rest of the week, we looked at using  mental calculations in maths and the children were challenged to use a range of techniques to perform mental calculations. We have also been rehearsing for the Christmas performance this week and the children have been working hard to learn our class song and the rest of the whole school songs.
