Linmere's class blog 20/3/22

Linmere have done lots of good work once again this week.

Over the week, we've carried on with our work on fractions and the children learnt what a fraction is and how to identify and represent a range of fractions, We also looked at creating a fraction wall to spot equivalent fractions. In literacy, we continued forming descriptive sentences about a tropical island and adding interesting and excitiing vocabulary. 

During the rest of the week, the children we're challenged to create adverts for a modern phone and a phone from the 1970s. The children also discussed which phone they'd prefer and looked at some key differences between them. A standout piece of work this week though was our R.E lesson on salvation. Lots of children remembered and summarised the story of the 10 lepers and explained how Jesus is seen as the saviour.
