Linmere's class blog 23/10/22

We've finished the first half-term and the children have adapted well to life in Linmere. 

Over our final week, the children continued their literacy work on 'Leon and the Place Between' and wrote some brilliant character descriptions. They also took part in a debate in literacy this week and it was great to see the children giving and justifying their opinions. 

During the rest of the week, the children looked at Anglo-Saxon settlements and compared this to modern day settlements. They also did some work on negative numbers and looked at working with temperature maths problems.
