Linmere's class blog 23/5/21

Well done Linmere, another week done and you've put in loads of effort this week.

It's been a tough week  in Linmere and we've been working hard to complete our big write on 'The Darkest Dark'.  We've also been working on some tricky fraction topics such as ordering and comparing fractions and finding fractions of amount. The children did really well in these topics and have managed to grasp the basics of both areas. 

On Wednesday, we looked how plants reproduce and process of pollination. For this lesson, the children got some fresh air and took photos of plants and the way they spread their seeds. We also carried on our work of Greek mythology in art and the children did a brilliant drawing of a centaur.
