Linmere's class blog 23.9.22

It's been an exciting week in Linmere and the year 5s finally got to do a violin lesson. Lots of them were really positive about their first session and I'm sure they're going to enjoy the rest of them.

During the rest of the week, the children did some poetry and began to look at possession in literacy, They also looked at adding and subtracting 1000 from numbers and revisited writing and reading numbers. A standout piece of work from the week was the children's work on seasonility in DT; they all did brilliantly in this and managed to recognise which fruit and vegetables grow at certain seasons.
