Linmere's class blog 25.11.23

This week has been a busy one in Linmere and the children have done lots of practical work over the past few days. 

A lesson the children really enjoyed this week was science where we looked at how sound travels through a medium. For this session, the pupils learnt what the term medium means and created cup phones to explore this concept. The children worked hard during this session and managed to understand this concept and apply it to the phone cups. 

During the rest of the week, we continued to explore subtraction and began our new maths topic of estimating. We played lots of maths games during these sessions and the children managed to extend this learning over to some diffiuclt questions. We also continued to look at our new book Beowulf and did some description work based around this book.
