First week back is done and dusted and the children have worked really hard on their return to school.

This week, we started our new topics (mountains and the history of trains) and the children did some brilliant work on them. For history, we created a timeline on the history of trains and in geography we located mountain ranges around the world. 

In English, we continued our work on The Darkest Dark and we  looked at relative clauses and subordination again. Maths this week was quite tricky and we started our work on bus stop division, which we will be continuing next week. 

I hope you've all had a nice weekend and have managed to get out in the Sun.
