Linmere's class blog 27.3.22

Another week done in Linmere and the children have worked really hard once again. 

Throughout the week, we have continued our literacy work around the book 'When The GIant Stirred' and children created a brilliant diary entry based on this. The children pretended to be the village chief in this diary and described their journey around the island as this character.  We also looked at speech throughout the week and the children formed some passages of speech as villagers on the island. 

Ahead of Easter, we also did some D and T around creating an Easter decoration. The children carried out some market research on existing products and designed a product based on this research. We are hoping to make these decorations next week so the children have something to bring home before the break.
