Linmere's class blog 29/5/22

Last week of half-term done and we've had very busy week in Linmere due to Jubillee. 

On Friday, the children took part in several activities linked to the Queen's Jubilee and at the end of the day we all sang God save the Queen. 1 of the activities the children took part in was to create a collage of the outline of the Queen's head using newspapers and pictures of the Queen. The end pieces of work looked really good and reflected all the hard work the children put into creating them. 

For the rest of week, the children started their new  book 'The Hunter' in literacy and continued to look at decimals in Maths and the stone age period in history. 

Have a nice half-term and I'll see you on the 6th of June.
