Linmere's class blog 4/12/21

This week in Linmere, we performed our class assembly and the children did fantastically. I know beforehand some of the children were a bit nervous but they all spoke very clearly and did a great job infront of the whole school.

In terms of our learning this week, we carried on with the Jinnie Ghost poem and we created similes for our own character. To  finish of this unit, we wrote  our own poem on Friday. For maths, the children were challenged to perform inverse operations and it was nice to see the children's confidence grow when performing these calculations.

To finish the week off, we finished our letter as an evacuee child during WW2 and we created another WW2 propoganda poster containing some of the art skills we've been learning over the last half-term.
