Lots has happened this week in Linmere and the children have made the most of their opportunities. 

This week, the year 5s got the chance to shine at the Hallé Schools' Concert and they all did a fantastic job. All their hard work and dedication to this year's violin lessons paid off and the children got the chance to perform in a huge concert hall. 

During the rest of the week, the children continued their work on decimals and worked on finding the decimals that are equivalent to one half, one quarter and three quarters. Our history work this week focused on comparing a Roman child's life and our lives. The children really got into this and wrote diaries based as a Roman child.
