Linmere's weekly blog 16/2/24

The final week of the half-term is over and its been another busy week in Linmere. 

First of all, a massive well done to the year 5s who were brilliant at the violin concert on Wednesday. The children took part in a collaborative concert with children from High Street primary school and Winsford academy and produced some brilliant pieces of music. 

In our other learning this week, the children were challenged to create a letter as one of Beowulf's warriors. The children did really well in these lessons and produced a detailed letter which described the setting, characters in the scene and the atmosphere. The children also did some good work in Maths this week when they looked at factor pairs and common factors. All of the children worked hard in these maths lessons to grasp this tricky concept and apply this knowledge to a range of problems.
