Linmere's weekly blog 18.6.22

What a busy week it's been in Linmere and the children have been doing lots of nice things once again. 

This week saw the year 5 children go and perform a violin concert at the Halle and it was great to hear lot of good feedback afterwards. All the adults who attended said the children performed brilliantly and it was great to hear lots of them say they had a realy nice time. Well done year 5!

During the rest of the week, we have continued to look at decimals and all the children had a go at rounding and comparing decimals once again. In literacy, we started our new book 'Varmints' and we looked at creating predicitions and descriptions of city landscapes. We also started our unit on space this week and it was great to see lots of children have some understanding of this topic beforehand.
