Linmere's weekly blog 22/3/24

Its been a really good week in Linmere and we've managed to get lots of work done. 

Over the week, we've continued to look at haikus in literacy and the children were challenged to create some of their own haikus. The children did really well in these lessons and managed to create some brilliant haikus on Spring and the world around them. 

In maths, we continued to look at fractions and we focused a lot this week on identifying and representing certain fractions. The children can now identify fractions and they have also started to look at equivalent fractions using a fractions wall. We also continued our R.E work on Hinduism this week and the children began to compare how images are used in Hinduism compared to other religions.
