Linmere's weekly blog 5/1/24

The children have started the new year of well and have managed to get lots of work done again.

In our maths, we continued to look a column multiplication and then moved to multiplying numbers by 10 and 100. Our English this week involved us looking at creating sentences for a diary on Hrothgar. During the session, the children did exceptionally well to imagine this character's feelings and what his thoughts would be. 

A standout piece of work from the children this week was our R.E work on the Christmas story and we discussed how its seen as good news by Christians. The children tried really hard in this lesson and produced some fantastic work.
