Linmere's weekly blog 7/5/22

Linmere have done lots of brilliant work again this week and have worked hard. 

Over the week, we continued our work on fractions and the children added and subtracted fractions and found fractions of quantities. The children were also challenged to write a letter as an islander to a distant relative. This letter was based around the children pretending that they'd seen a volcanic eruption and describing this scene to their relative. 

During R.E this week,  we continued to look at Good Friday and the children were able to understand why this day is called Good Friday and it's importance to Christians. The children drew some brilliant posters and pictures based around this task.
