Linmere's weekly blog 9/2/24

Wow, Linmere have done lots this week and I think the children have worked really hard. 

On Wednesday, the children visited Winsford Academy where they learnt a dance and then performed it at the theatre infront of other pupils and parents. The children did really well in this and despite being a bit hesitant at the start they threw themselves into this. We also had a slightly different day on Tuesday as we took part in events based around number day. For this, we looked at finding factors and prime numbers using jelly beans.

A standout lesson this week was science where we looked at streamlined objects and how these objects reduce water and air resistance. The children were then challenged to design and make their own boat out of tin foil that floated and moved quickly through the water.
