Linmere's weekly blog 20/11/21

Another week in Linmere done and we've done some good work once again.

This week, we finally finished our  book Gorilla and the children were challenged to create a story following a similar model to Gorilla. The children all managed to create a good adventure story and applied lots of skills we've learnt over this unit to their story. In maths, we looked at column addition once again and the children started to apply this technique to a range of problems.

To finish of the week, we did an outdoor lesson which lots of children enjoyed. We tied this outdoor lesson to lots of different subjects  and the class  had to use the materials they found outside (leaves, twigs and rocks) to complete the activities.
