Linmere's weekly blog 17.9.23

Linmere have had a busy week once again and we've managed to get lots of work done. 

During the week, we started to look at the place value of 4-digit numbers and did some work on partitioning and representing these numbers. We also managed to do some work on apostrophes in Literacy and we looked at the difference between using 's' for plural words and using 's' to show possession. The children all did really well in these lessons to grasp a tricky concept and some children began applying this to their work. 

Our topic work this week involved us looking at who the vikings were and trying to get some more information on them. We also looked at the climate up a mountain and discussed what the term climate means.
