Oakmere - Numbots and TTRS

This afternoon you child should have come home with a letter about a new subscription we have to Numbots and Times Table Rockstars. We trialled this as a school during lockdown and some of you will have tried it at this time. It is a great resource that can be used both in school and at home, simply by logging into your child's personal account. Having monitored the progress of the children who took part during the trial, we were very impressed by the improvements that were made in a relatively short time. Just 5 or 10 minutes a few times a week could be very effective and the best part is, it is fun for the children! It is possible to access the games through the websites or by downloading the apps. I have suggested that the Year 3 children start with Numbots before moving onto Times Table Rockstars, whereas Year 4 may feel ready to go straight into TTRS. However, all children are free to use either or both resources as they wish.
