Good afternoon!
What a lovely day we have had! The children have had a wonderful day celebrating the Queen's Jubilee! We have written a letter to Her Majesty and created beautiful prints of her in the style of stamps. The children have enjoyed a special lunch and we closed it all with a wonderful rendition of God Save the Queen.
The rest of the week has been equally busy. We have been observing invertabrates in their natural habitats in Science and creating a poster full of information about them. In Literacy, we learnt all about the Royal Family and in Maths, we started adding fractions, not an easy task!
We are now on holidays for a week so have a gorgeous time and a good rest. Enjoy any events you might take part in for the Jubilee celebrations and we will see the children back on Monday 6th June so the last stretch of the year!
