Oakmere Friday Team

Good afternoon, 

This week, the children have been busy writing their own version of the Winter's Child. I have been so impressed with their stories so far, they have tried so hard to use all the features and language we have been asking for him. 

We have carried on with multiplications in Maths and the Year 4s (and Mrs Monson) have really been tested in their understanding today, everybody's mind was puzzled!

We had great fun in science investigating water and the different states in comes in, we also had ice cream and chocolate sauce!! 

Just a little reminder to book your parents' evening slot if you haven't done so yet.

Finally, the children have been given a piece of paper, they need to design a poster for promoting the use of reusable water bottles and reducing single use plastics in school. Entries need to be in by Monday 14th February if you wish to take part.
