Oakmere weekly update - 16.09.2016

What another fantastic week we have had in Oakmere! Here are some of the great things we have been up to this week:

* We began our rocks topic in science and went on a rock hunt around the school to see what rocks we could find. We learnt about what natural and man-made rock means.

*We absolutey loved Roald Dahl day and produced some excellent instructions for making a dream jar. We were also very excited that the B.F.G wrote us a letter.

*We have been exploring the place value of 2, 3 and 4 digit numbers in maths and will continue with this next week.

*We have also created some excellent word clouds describing our class using the computer programme - tagul. We shall contonue to use this programme throughout the year to develop our confidence. Keep a look out for our fabulous display.
