Well done Oakmere for producing some excellent instructions for making your own perfect teacher potion. Everyone worked hard to include all of the features of instruction writing. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading them. However, I am not sure I would drink any of your magical potions. There are some very interesting ingredients used.

We have tackled Roman numerals in Maths this week and the children have become more confident in using, writing and solving problems with Roman numerals. We learnt that their are only 7 letters that are used to create all numbers and they didn't have a 0.

We carried out different investigations in Science on Thursday to answer questions about gas. We focused primarily on air / oxygen.  We learnt that even though we can't always see air, it is there and it really does matter. We also learnt that it has a weight. Great predictions were made.

Please remember to keep reading at home as it is so important. If children read mire than 4 times a week, they receive extra raffle tickets.
