Oakmere's first week back - 09.06.2017

What a busy week back we have had in Oakmere!

We have now finished our class book of The Minpins. The children were all very excited to see what happened at the end of the story and it didn't disappoint. We shall start to plan and create our own adventure story based on the themes and ideas fromthis book. Before we start writing our own stories, the children will be writing a letter in the role of Don Mini from the story,

We have also been exploring in Science why light can be dangerous for our eyes, especially from the sun. The children have started to create some detailed information posters full of facts and infroamtion of how to keep yourself safe. Keep a look out around school as you may see some of our posters on display.

We have completed some assessments in Maths this week and I am very impressed with the childrens' focus and attitude. Keep it up guys!
