Good afternoon, 

And firstly, a very happy new year to you all!

This has been a different week to the one expected due to Mrs Winder testing positive and having a isolate! Miss Pile has brilliantly stepped up to the plate and the learning has carried on... nearly as normal! Today, we had a Teams meeting where Mrs Winder managed to teach the children Literacy and Maths remotely with the classroom support of Miss Pile and Mrs Monson -  a massive thank you to them both for their support. The children were brilliant and as ever, raised up to the challenge.

It has been lovely seeing the children back in class (or via a computer) and we have definitely started straight back with our learning. We are looking at inverse in Maths and how that can be helpful to check our answers and in Literacy, we started planning a letter from the character in our story - we are focussing on using adverbs and subordinating conjunctions in our writing. 

We also had some PE - football skills and dance this term!
