Good afternoon,
This week has sadly brought on a lot of sickness which has led to a record number of absentees, we hope everyone will be back on form next week.
In class, it was business as usual with a lot of work. In Literacy, the children wrote some great character descriptions, creating a whole new character who will become their lead character in next week's story. In maths, we have carried on learning our times tables, 4 and 8 for our year 3 and we moved on to x6 for our Year 4s - this has really helped with our weekly times tables tests too.
We had good fun in science this week, we carried out an experiment on ice and water, how and when does one turn into the other - next week will bring chocolate and ice cream! What better way to learn!
In PE, we are getting some great dances from the children and our hockey skills are improving every week.
