Good afternoon!

What a busy week this has been, Christmas has never been closer and the snow this afternoon certainly made us feel very excited!

We have started a new book in English so this week, we have spent time exploring vocabulary and using our inference skills to work out what the book might be about. In Maths, we are working on times tables so any extra TTRS practice you can get in will give your child the extra support they need. We have also been extremely proud of the children's reading, many have already gone up to harder levels and we will carry on our assessments next week where we are sure more children will shine. 

Next week brings the last week of the term. Thursday will be panto day which we are all very much looking forward to! Please note that there will be no need for PE kits on Friday - they are still needed on Tuesday though.

With France-England tomorrow in the World Cup, the friendly rivalry in class will come to a conclusion... let's see who has a smile on their face on Monday morning!! Allez les bleus!
