Good afternoon and a happy new year to you all!

What a pleasure it's been seeing everybody back! Everyone has come back rested and raring to go, we have been blown away by their positive attitude this week! They've produced beautiful work, particularly noticeable in their English writing.

Maths is bringing times table, x3 for Year 3s and x7 for Year 4s, please be sure to support them at home as the better they know their times tables, the easier Maths will be going forward.

We have also started our new Science topic: plants.

To finish, a couple of reminders: PE is on Tuedays and Fridays so please, send PE kits on those days. As per my email yesterday, we will be doing shared reading on Mondays and Thursdays where the children read to one another so please make sure their books are in their bags on those days. Finally, reading records are looked at on Mondays so please, send them in then. This coming Monday, we will check who needs a new one.
