Good afternoon,

Another short week, yet a very productive one. We have finished our Poetry unit which has resulted in some really funny poems which the children performed very well to each other.

Fractions rule our world currently in Maths and the children are showing an amazing flair for what isn’t an easy topic, well done!

A new Science topic is under way, we are learning about Living Things and their habitats at the moment. The children have created classification tables with the aim to create a classification key next week.

In History, we have carried on watching Spy Watch to support our WWII topic.

Don’t forget that our PE days are Tuesday and Friday. As the weather is slowly warming up, please make sure you send a water bottle with your child to keep them hydrated, this is particularly important on our PE days.

Sick bugs are making a comeback in school at the moment so please ensure you encourage hand washing and make sure you keep your child at home if they are unwell. We are back to a full week next week so we hope you have a restful weekend.
