Oakmere's Weekly Review - 10.03.2017

Date: 12th Mar 2017 @ 9:59pm

We have started to read 'Until I Met Dudley' in English as a text to help us to produce our very own explanations about a household object. We have enjoyed listening to the silly ideas the little girl has for how different household items  work and also finding out how they actually work. We are also trying extremely hard to remember the features required to make an excellent explanation text.

The children are continuing to enjoy learning about Sikhism. They have explored the beliefs and have started to discuss and identify similarities and differences between this religion and Christianity. We shall be taking a break from Sikhism to explore Easter traditions, symbols  and beliefs around the world but shall return to this interesting topic after the holidays.

We have been exploring multiplication and division in Maths so keep a look out for Toby (our inverse monste) who helps us to learn about inverse operations and to solve missing number calculations.

We have another busy week next week and we shall also start to rehearse our Eastwr Service poem.

See you in the morning!
