OSJ is getting ready for World Book Day - 07.03.2024

Everyone is busy here at Over St. John's getting ready for World Book Day on Thursday 7th March. Here is a reminder about our plans for this year.
Our theme is being unique, being diverse, being you! We are asking our children to come dressed as themselves in their favourite clothes to show their friends just how special they are!
During the day, each class will learn part of Benjamin Zephaniah's poem 'People will always need people'. Each class will record their part and we shall have a whole school recital of this beautiful poem. Keep a look out for our World Book Day blogs later in the week.
Each class has also chosen a book that they will use as inspiration for the day based on our theme:
