Our week 14th May - Linmere

Date: 18th May 2018 @ 3:40pm

As we near the end of this half term we also find ourselves coming to the end of the book we are studying in English. This week the children created some wonderful information texts on elephants. Then they took on the role of a herd of elephants who were asked to take in and care for a poor, orphaned baby elephant. Linmere - you certainly completed a lot of writing this week!

There was a mystery to be solved in maths this week and it was a real race against the clock. We recapped all the things we have been learning in maths to solve "the mystery of the Royal wedding ring robbery!". Thankfully we managed to work out who committed the crime and so now hopefully the Royal wedding will go without a hitch on Saturday! Well done to Max who was the first to solve the case.

In the afternoons we have enjoyed a game of rounders and had some great discussions around making right and wrong choices and how to stay safe on line.

Please remember that we are off to Tatton Park on Monday so everyone will need a packed lunch in a disposable bag.

Enjoy your weekend and see you all on Monday.
