Our week 16th October - Linmere

Can you believe that we have been back at school for 7 weeks already?

It's been another busy week in Linmere- choral rehearsals, learning about water colours and of course science day on Tuesday. This day was a great success and we enjoyed learning all about water. Please see the gallery and science day blog for further details.

In English this week we completed our information booklets on whales and have now moved on to writing newspaper articles.

In maths we began looking at how to solve more complex word problems and are trying to remember to use the RUCSAC method to help us.

It's harvest festival time next week - please can you help your child to learn the poem (with actions) that we will be performing in church. We are still collecting items for the food bank and any donations will be gratefully received.
